Have you ever felt tired of doing everyday things like homework or chores? Or have you gotten really excited about something and then found out it wasn’t going to happen at all? Maybe you awoke one day and started stressing about a really hard test. Or you may have felt too scared to go up to a stranger and tell them about Jesus. Well, do not fear because you are not alone!
The Bible says in Psalm 46:1 that: “God is our shelter and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.” God is with you even in your worst times. He is like an underground shelter that provides protection from a tornado. So when you are in trouble, feel scared or sad or anxious, run to the Invisible Shelter and He will strengthen you. Even though you cannot see Him, He is always standing right beside you. He will see you through your toughest times.
And after you have conquered whatever it is you’re worried about, remember to thank Him like David did: “For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe” (Psalm 61:3).
