The world is a big place. The people who live here number in the billions. And we are different in size, shape, age, height, color, language, culture, beliefs, interests, dislikes. Despite these differences, there is one thing that a group of us have in common. Those who have decided to let Jesus be their Savior share a love that is everlasting.
In the face of any persecution or hatred that we may face, we can be assured that we are conquerors. We are not conquerors through any actions of ours but conquerors through Christ who triumphed over sin, death, evil, and Satan on the cross. Still, we are not conquerors only but we are more than conquerors through Christ that loved us who overcame the world and in doing so gave us the strength, grace, fearlessness to overcome any thing that rises against us.
We can all be assured that nothing at all will ever separate us from the everlasting love of Christ. Facing the fear, terror and coldness of death, His love will be with us. Living with the pleasures, comforts and favorite things of life, His love remains with us. And if angels or people – whether good or bad – try to destroy us, His love will not end. Our present problems, our future troubles, disloyal friends, time and all of eternity will never ever separate us from the everlasting love of Christ. Experiencing the tremendous high of fame and success or the dark depths of pain and heartache and disgrace, His love goes on and on.
Anything that you can name, cannot, will not ever separate us from the everlasting love of Christ. With Christ, everlasting means everlasting and the same God who loved us yesterday, loves us today and will love us forever.
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:37-39
